From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader
Church Hill Classics was founded in 1991 by Lucie Voves in the basement of her Newtown, Connecticut home. With a vision to elevate diploma framing into something more meaningful, Lucie set out to create handcrafted frames that reflect the significance of the degree they hold.
As demand has grown, so has our company. In 2007, with diplomaframe.com gaining recognition as a trusted source for officially licensed collegiate frames, Church Hill Classics relocated to a 47,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Monroe, Connecticut. This expansion allowed us to scale our craftsmanship while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and care. Most recently, the acquisition of an additional 15,102-square-foot building adjacent to our headquarters has further strengthened our U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities and our ability to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Every Church Hill Classics frame is handcrafted in the USA with premium materials like acid-free matting, solid hardwood and recycled wood mouldings, and UV-protective glass. Our team of framing professionals ensures all products meet the stringent standards set by the Professional Picture Framers Association, and we always have a Certified Picture Framer managing our frame production.
We also offer a wide range of customization options, allowing you to create a frame that reflects your personal style while honoring your accomplishment. Through our officially licensed partnerships with colleges and universities, we provide frame designs that are both professional and timeless.
