Made in the USA Logo

To hear Grandma and Grandpa speak of the United States circa 1950s, the world begged for anything Made in the U.S.A. There were no Japanese-made cars, gadgets from China, Cambodian-made hoodies, or jeans made in Sri Lanka. America was a mecca for all goods, and if it was “Made in America,” it was made with excellence, integrity, and pride. Dinah Shore sang her 1950s jingle with gusto, “See the U.S.A. in your Chevrolet; America’s the greatest land of all.”

While Ms. Shore crooned about patriotism decades ago, there are still many important reasons to seek out a company that manufactures its goods in the United States. Buying nationally creates jobs, keeps money circulating in our country, and decreases our dependency on nations that may not have the same safety, ethics, standards, or working conditions associated with U.S.A. Made.
