Diplomaframe.com Named to the Inc. 5000 Fast-Growth List
for the Fourth Consecutive Year
Monroe, CT – August 24, 2010 – Church Hill Classics (CHC), which operates online as diplomaframe.com and is a leading custom diploma frame manufacturer, has been named by Inc. Magazine to the Inc. 5000 list for the fourth consecutive year. This rare accomplishment places CHC alongside other national iconic companies, such as Microsoft, Intuit, Zappos, and Visa, who have appeared on the list multiple times.
CHC was named as one of six fast-growth companies for the Consumer Products and Services industry in Connecticut. The company also ranked 222nd nationally for the consumer products category and 4,784th on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing companies across all industries. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of December 31, 2009. Revenue in 2006 must have been at least $80,000, and revenue in 2009 must have been at least $2 million.
As stated in the congratulatory letter sent by Inc. 5000, "CHC's success is even more extraordinary given the recent economic climate."
Church Hill Classics is a leader in the collegiate diploma frame market in the U.S. The company also manufactures custom designed and handcrafted insignia products for corporations, professional associations, the U.S. Military, and Greek organizations. Their product line includes: Design Your Frame customizable diploma, certificate, and membership frames, military frames and cases, sports frames, desk accessories featuring customized medallions, and a line of Lasting Memories photo frames and signature frames. The company also has a selection of "green" recycled wood frame options.
In September 2009, the company launched its 2nd scholarship contest, in order to give back to students and help further their education. The "Frame My Future" Scholarship Contest connected with students online with Facebook and Twitter, as well as in other venues, and asked students to submit a "creation" that expressed their personal and professional vision of life after college. Five students each received a $1,000 scholarship, and the Grand Prize Winner also received a $1,000 donation to their school's scholarship endowment fund. The program's huge response has made it an annual scholarship, and it is being offered again, starting October 7, 2010. More details are available at /contests
Church Hill Classics posted sales of $5.8 million in 2009. A ceremony honoring all winners will be held during the 28th Annual Inc. 500 & Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C., September 30th through October 2nd. "It is a distinct honor to be recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the nation's fast-growth companies for the fourth consecutive year. It is especially meaningful as we approach our 20th anniversary in 2011. Our continued growth during challenging times is attributed to transforming the business to best meet our customers' needs, as well as establish new business ventures through the use of technology, social media, nonprofit and community involvement, and the dedication of the CHC staff."
