"It is a pleasure dealing with your company! Whether I'm ordering diploma frames or finalizing information on my brochure, I appreciate the friendly and professional service I receive."
- Dwan Haydel, Loyola University New Orleans Bookstore

Thanks to all of you who participated in our “Proud to be an American” Photo Contest.  We received many wonderful entries that made us swell with pride.

It was very difficult judging with so many patriotic photos, but here are the photos from our proudest Americans!!

You can view even more entries by visiting Church Hill Classics' page on Facebook!

1st PLACE

Photo Entered By: Danielle Brinkman

Photo Caption: I am proud to be an American, because I am a Marine currently deployed to Iraq and I have seen how truly blessed we are as a nation. I work with men and women who are willing to risk their lives to defend our freedom. This photo was taken in Iraq of a couple of Marines I work with. I look at this photo and I see the pride and determination on their faces. It motivates me to do my best out here so that I can return home to a country that is truly the land of opportunity.

Our first place winner has won $300 in U.S. Savings Bond, and a custom frame that she will design herself.

2nd PLACE

Photo Entered By: Brittany Terry

Photo Caption: I am proud to be an American because my children will always be free. It doesn't really matter if the wrong party is elected president because our basic rights and freedoms will always be protected. As Americans, we have more in common than not. The picture is of my son under his "security blanket".

Our second place winner has won $150 in U.S. Savings Bonds, and a custom frame that she will design herself.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

With so many wondeful entries, we have decided to name a number of honorable mentions.  Each honorable mention shown below will receive the 5" x 7" picture frame that their photo is shown in.

Photo Entered By: Jennifer Wheat
Photo Caption: To see the American flag waving strong and true in times like these brings a tear to most anyone's eye. The tough times make you stronger. Seeing a field of American Flags like this gave me such a feeling of pride.

Photo Entered By: Eric Lovelin
Photo Caption: I am proud to be an American because this country affords me to become a well informed citizen by participating in civic issues. With the knowledge I acquire, I am able to exercise my freedom of speech and share my views and beliefs with those around me. This picture celebrates a group of women that have embraced this freedom as the best way of celebrating their pride in the country they love.

Photo Entered By: Linda Fogleman
Photo Caption: This photo was taken at Chimney Rock Park in Chimney Rock, NC during a getaway weekend with my husband. I was deeply touched to see this large American flag flying on top of such a scenic place. It reminds me of how lucky we are in America to have the freedom and security to travel to such wonderful vistas.

Photo Entered By: Sonya Bolon
Photo Caption: "Kiss for a Hero"
Proud to be an American, I am proud because we are a land of ups and downs. We have opportunities for people of all colors, religions and upbringing. We have the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor and somehow it all works in harmony.

Thank you again to everyone who participated in this contest.
