Maria Nicholson  Monroeville, NJ
School:  University of Delaware
This image depicts a prosthetic finger being held by the hand of a child. As a biomedical engineering major, the improvement of prosthetic devices is one of the fields that I could be involved in in the future. Specifically, I want to work with wounded veterans who have lost limbs in battle. To me, there are not many things more rewarding than letting the hand of a father who lost his arm serving our country be held by his child. It is my dream to make this possible for those who need it.
