Is there an entry fee?
There is no entry fee.
Who is eligible to apply?
The “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest 2013 is open all legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, including APO/FPO addresses excluding Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, and must be attending a secondary education institution full-time for the 2013-2014 academic year. This could be a community college, an undergraduate college or university, or a graduate school.
How old do I need to be to enter?
There is no minimum age to enter. You just need to be planning to attend college full-time for the 2013-2014 academic year. If you are a minor and become a Finalist, you will need your parent’s permission to enter the Finalist stage.
Can the scholarship be applied to tuition at an international school?
The “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest is only applicable to colleges and universities located in the United States.
Can I apply if I receive a military scholarship?
Yes, you may apply if you receive a military scholarship. Please note, if you are a Winner, the award will be dispersed to your college or university and applied to your tuition bill even in the event that you receive a full military scholarship.
Are there any GPA requirements?
There are no GPA requirements.
How do I submit an entry?
You must fill out the online entry form and upload an original entry piece that is your own work. The entry period is open October 2, 2012 – March 5, 2013 (11:59 PM Eastern).
What file formats can my entry piece be?
Your entry piece MUST be in a .JPG or .JPEG format. Any other format will not be accepted. Maximum file size: 2MB. Recommended upload size: 1600 x 1200 or 1280 x 960 pixels.
What should I include in the accompanying description of my entry?
Your accompanying description should be a brief overview of your entry piece, and cannot exceed 500 characters based on our count (a character is every letter, number, symbol, space).
Can I mail or email my entry?
You cannot mail or email us your entry. All entries need to be submitted through the online entry form.
How many entries may I submit?
Only one entry per person is allowed.
I am receiving an error message when I submit my entry. What should I do?
Please double check the following things before submitting your entry:
What happens if I miss the entry deadline?
- Your entry piece must be in an image format (jpeg). If you have a written piece, you can scan the document and save it in an image format. If you do not own a scanner, the majority of schools or a public library should have a scanner that you can use.
- Your image cannot exceed the maximum file size (2MB)
- You must fill out every single field on the entry form
- Your description cannot exceed the 500 character limit (a character is every letter, number, symbol, space).
All entries must be received before the contest closes on March 5, 2013 (11:59 PM Eastern). There are absolutely no exceptions. Do not wait until the deadline in case you run into any computer problems or experience issues submitting your entry to our website.
How do I know that you've received my entry?
You will receive an email once your entry has been posted online. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org
to your safe sender list so you can receive this confirmation email. All entries must be reviewed and approved by Church Hill Classics before they are posted in the entry listing. This could take a few days depending on how many entries are being received.
I didn't receive my confirmation email. Why?
Some ISPs (Internet service providers) commonly install email filters that block or filter emails sent from unknown addresses. If you have a "junk mail" box, check to see if that's where the email landed. If you've installed software to monitor your email, make sure your settings aren't causing your emails to get blocked. Adding email@example.com
to your safe sender list may help ensure that you receive the confirmation email.
If you submitted an entry and the website said something along the lines of “Thanks for entering. Please note, entries must be reviewed and approved by Church Hill Classics. You will receive an email when your entry is approved and has been posted online.” Then we HAVE received your entry and you are all set! Due to the amount of entries that are being submitted, you may not receive a confirmation email for a few days. Please be patient while we review and post the entries in the order they are received.
Will my entry be seen online?
Yes, as long as your entry fits the requirements, it will be featured online in the entry listing with all of the considered entries. The information featured online will be your entry piece and accompanying description, your first and last name, the school you are attending or planning to attend, and the city and state where you live. All other information that you fill out through the entry form is kept internal.
I accidentally uploaded the wrong entry. Can I delete my entry and submit a new photo?
Unfortunately, due to the large volume of entries submitted to the contest, all approved and posted entries are final and cannot be replaced or modified.
How will my entry be judged?
Entries pieces and accompanying descriptions are judged based on creativity in relation to the contest guidelines and “Frame My Future” theme.
How are the Finalists chosen?
The 24 Finalists will be chosen by Judges at Church Hill Classics and their submissions will be posted online. Finalist judging is based on entry piece and accompanying description in accordance with the contest guidelines, and the most creative entries deemed by the judges.
When will the Finalists be announced?
The 24 Finalists will be announced April 2, 2013. If you are an entrant, please add firstname.lastname@example.org
to your safe sender list to help ensure that you receive the Finalist announcement.
Who does the public vote on?
The public votes on their favorite entry from the 24 Finalists selected by Church Hill Classics.
When can I vote for my favorite Finalist entry?
You can vote between April 2th - May 2nd, 2013 (11:59 pm Eastern Time).
How do I vote for my favorite Finalist entry?
View the selection of Finalist entries. Click on the entry thumbnails to view an entry's detail page, including an entry close-up and description. You can vote for an entry on this entry detail page. Just click the "Vote For This Entry" button and insert your email address. Click the submit button to place your vote. Important Note: In order for your vote to count, you need to confirm your email address. You will receive a confirmation email, and all you need to do is click the link in the email to confirm your vote.
How many times can I vote?
There is only one vote allowed per email address, so choose your favorite entry wisely! You will receive a confirmation email for every time you click the "Vote For This Entry" button, however only the last email confirmation link that you click will count as a vote.
What happens if I didn't receive the vote confirmation email?
First, check your email spam folder. The email will be coming from email@example.com
with the subject line: Vote Confirmation Needed - Frame My Future Scholarship Contest. If you did not receive the email, try adding this email address to your address book, and place your vote again. Please double check that you are inserting your email address correctly.
I can't click the link that was sent in my email confirmation. How do I confirm my vote?
Some email clients do not enable links within their emails. Please copy the full URL link that was provided in your email, and paste it into your browser. You should then see a vote confirmation screen - and your vote has been counted!
How are the Winners chosen?
Winners are chosen solely from public voting on the Finalists. The five entries with the most votes will be Scholarship Winners. The top-voted entry is named the Grand Prize Winner.
When will the Winners be announced?
The Winners will be announced on May 16, 2013.

- 30 Honorable Mentions – Certificate
The scholarship is paid directly to your college or university towards your 2013-2014 tuition.
