Numbers –they are so simple yet so complex. They expand beyond math class and can be seen in everyday life. For example, one pencil is used for writing, two shoes are worn each day, three pieces of silverware are used during meals, four triangles compose a child’s sandwich, five fingers are used for picking up everyday objects, and six people are in my family. My love for the simplicity of numbers has led me to frame my future with them by choosing to become a math major and a future teacher.
