Part one of three

Honorable MentionsChurch Hill Classics® has run its Frame My Future Scholarship Contest for the sixth year in a row now, and every year the entries seem to get better. This year was another success; the scholarship contest received more than 6,000 entries. There were entries submitted from all over the United States.

The beauty of the Frame My Future Scholarship Contest is in encouraging students to showcase their talents whether it is in writing, drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, or other creative outlets. Students were asked to submit a creation that would display their aspirations after college in their personal and professional lives.

As always, the Finalists selection process of narrowing down the submissions was rigorous. An expert panel of judges at Church Hill Classics carefully reviewed each entry and narrowed the submitted entries down to only 60. All the entries were judged on their overall creativity and effectiveness in relation to the “Frame My Future” theme and the accompanying summary. At the end, there was a company-wide voting that took place to select the 22 Finalists.

New this year: two Fan Favorites Finalistss were chosen to be part of the group of 24 Finalists. Two entries were selected automatically as part of the 24 Finalists based on their Fan Favorite status! To become a fan favorite, each contestant’s entry had to

  • Receive the most Facebook Likes out of all the 2014 Frame My Future entries on the diplomaframe.com™ website (final count taken on 3/19/14 at 12PM ET)
  • Be an original creation that relates to the contest theme and follows all rules/requirements
  • Contain proper spelling and grammar (including entry image and accompanying description)

Then, all 24 Finalists then advanced to the public online voting stage. The 5 students with the most votes will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. The top-voted entry will receive an additional $1,000 donation to the college or university that he/she will attend in the 2014-2015 academic year. Take a few moments to view the 24 Finalists and make sure to rock your vote by placing your vote for your favorite entry. Voting is open from April 2nd to April 30th, 2014 (11:59 pm EST).

Church Hill Classics would like to recognize the other 36 entries that were named as Honorable Mentions for the 2014 Frame My Future Scholarship Contest. All 36 Honorable Mentions will receive a certificate, and each of their entries will be featured on our social media sites and blog. You can view the 36 Honorable Mentions on our Pinterest board.
