Hup, two, three, four…You might be chanting this army drill if you’re attending the upcoming College Career Boot Camp NYC because you’ll be getting in shape to enter the “toughest labor market in at least 25 years!” according to the Wall Street Journal.
Recent graduates and current students will be taught all kinds of helpful information that should give them insight into the job market during this fast-paced two-day program being held on June 3 and 4 in New York City. They will also have the chance to meet with recruiters and executives from well-known organizations.
“Partial scholarships are available on a limited basis” to help defray the cost of the program, and email@example.com should be contacted “right away,” explained Jill Tipograph, one of the co-producers of the boot camp.

“I believe this is a not-to-be missed event,” stated Jill. It’s a great way to help “jump-start a career in the worse job market” that she’s ever seen. She added that participants will acquire skills that will last a lifetime.
We all know that this is not the usual job market with employers having “cut over 2 million jobs since last July,” and when “the unemployment rate among 20- to 24-year-olds rose to 13.5 percent in January, up from 9.8 percent a year ago,” according to information put out by the co-producers of the boot camp, Jill and Tory Johnson.
It states in the registration form that this “event is designed to teach young adults how to sell themselves and to navigate the job search process”. Some boot camp “exercises” include: resume writing, effective interviewing, negotiating compensation, and day-to-day job responsibilities.
