Danbury, CT August 14, 2006 – Church Hill Classics, a manufacturer of diploma frames headquartered in Danbury, CT, is a finalist for the 2006 BBB International Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.  The Company was nominated for the International competition by the CT Chapter of the Better Business Bureau after winning the Torch Award at the state level in 2004.  Church Hill Classics has also been recognized by the CT BBB for Outstanding Web Marketing Message for its www.diplomaframe.com website.

In all, nine outstanding businesses have been selected as finalists, with Church Hill Classics named one of four finalists in Category 3 for companies with 11-99 employees.  The winner from each of the four categories will be announced on September 18, 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Presented annually since 1996, the BBB International Torch Award illuminates the long-term value of honest and honorable business practices.  Leading up to this year's competition, more than 1,000 businesses competed in local Torch Award competitions, with 100 businesses being nominated or qualifying for entry at the international level.

“Each finalist is proof that an outstanding reputation in the marketplace leads to long-term success.  Businesses that do the right thing have a competitive advantage.  They elicit the steadfast loyalty of their customers, employees, suppliers and vendors, and surrounding communities, which in turn boosts sales of their service or product,” said Steve Cole, president and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
